#wannajournalmay

(All things I always wanted to journal about and never had time for)

I wanted to create something like that for a long time!  I have collected so many journaling prompts and have never take time to actually write them!  So, I'm taking care now! It doesn't have to take a lot of time,  my focus is on WRITING them, not on perfection.
The RULES are:
Write 1prompt a day
You could take 5-20 minutes, not more.
I made sure that the prompts have meaning!
1.If I could not fail, I would. ..
2.What excited me when I was a child.
3.What I have now (material things).
4. What I have now ( non material things)
5.What I don't have now and want to have.
6.People that I admire.
7. What is important to me now.
8. If I was an artist,  what I would draw.
9.To what things I became attached to?
10.Animals I have seen live.
11. What was the most memorable experience in my life?
12. The most important goal that I have right now.
13. What kind of the obstacle I face to my most desirable goal right now?
14. If a fairly godmother could make all your dreams come true, what would you ask her to do?
15.What would you do if you had all the time in the world?
16. List 20 things how you could earn money rig ht now.
17.What worries me now?
18. List three most important things to do the next year.
19. What questions you have for people you admire?
20. What is the success for you?
21. How to become more productive?
22.  What do I want to do in 20 years?
23. In which countries have you been?
24. Where would you go if you had unlimited access to money?
25. What do you live for?
26. How creative are you?
27. What is your personal brand, in your opinion?
28. Who do you wanted to be when you were a child?
29. What is your successful day's scenario?
30.What will you teach your children?
31. What  brought you the most emotions today?

I will use #wannajournalmay tag on Instagram and here, on my blog to post pictures!  Please join me in journaling!

My #journal in my #midoritravelersnotebook ! Looks #fun, don't you think? #post

via IFTTT

One notebook set up in Midori Traveler's Notebook-how to have it all without too much weight and rewriting anything!

Those who follow me for a long time in my planner journey know that I was a firm believer in ring bound system (Filofax). ( Don't get me wrong,  I still am).
I didn't look up closely at Midori until I watched Carry Harling's video about her Midori set up, where she explained that she hadn't bound the planner notebook in her Midori. This video has sold the Midori  system for me. I have bought it and used it until one morning.
The biggest problem that I have with any paper planner system is that paper is heavy (rings are heavy, several notebooks are heavy,  any additions (business card holders, zipped folders etc.) are heavy and so on!). So ANY paper planner system that reduce the weight problem is a god-sent solution for me!
So, at one perfect morning,  when I collected everything that I wanted to take with me in my shoulder bag, and immediately wanted to get rid of everything right after putting it on my shoulder, I started to think how to reduce weight. Then it dawned on me that I don't have to have just one unbound planner notebook there, I could unbound ALL notebooks! I quickly removed staples and took out all written on pages, and several blank graphed sheets to write on.  And three bound notebooks are gone! And I could leave any pages that I don't need frequently at home! And I could shuffle the pages to arrange them in wanted order! That's how I started to use Midori as my main system!
So here is my already proofed set up:
1. Productivity pages (lists, to do's, projects, goals etc.)
2. 12 preprinted months  on 2 pages of 2015 year, with notes on the front and back pages (to tuck pages in between months)
3. Current month's weeks, tucked  just right after the current month on 2 pages
4. My daily/journaling pages, tucked after weeks' pages.
This I called my current month' block (with month on 2pages, weeklies, and dailies. When a month is over,  I took them out, and put a bunch of new pages after  the new month. I put the previous month' block, except the month on two pages, to arhive)
5. New graphed paper for writing on in the middle.
Everything is under one elastic. No hustle.  If I need more pages for my lists, I add my graph paper there and write a new list, the same for other sections.
The second half of the pages will be used when I will be on the second half of the year, because the June month on 2 pages is in the middle of the notebook. If I need more pages to write on the current month, I will add more, if fewer, I will just leave them blank and move on to the next month' block.
I hope my idea will be useful for you. I know that I'm not the only one who suffers from weight issues! What do you think about it?  Would you use it for yourself?

How I create new tabs in my midoritravelersnotebook !

I wanted to share it with you in case you want to repeat it. I don't like repositionable tabs because there is the risk of losing them, and this risk is high since Midori cover has the same size as the notebooks inside it, and tge tabs are exposed to wear and tear!
I use a paper flags of different colors (yes, I do color code my tabs according to my 6 colorcoding system). I stamp the name of the tab with distress ink pad, fold the flag, and put it into desired place. Then cover the tab with three layers of scotch tape over it, and trim  the excess. That's it! The tabs are holding really well, I didn't have any problems with them, and I am not careful with them at all!
Hope you find my advice helpful!

My bulletjournal Week 16 in my Midori Travelers Notebook

I've had several requests on how I set up my Midori Travelers Notebook.  I will make the set up video soon, and so far I wanted to show you my week 16. I have dived in art journaling very deep recently, and "discovered" collages, and now start to read more books on painting, mixed media, and practice it all in my art/junque/collage journals that I made so far-three, to be exact. And I'm absolutely happy to finally dive heavy into it. It's something that I wanted to do for ten years, people!  And yes, I will make videos on my YouTube channel about them too! So, without further ado, here it is!

P.S. If you want ro follow me daily,  plea se subscribe to my blog MySummerTouch1.blogspot.com or to my Instagram and YouTube account MySummerTouch.
